One day left, and I plan on bowing out with pizza at Bennidito’s tomorrow night. I know I should try to make the full five days, but I haven’t finished a challenge yet. Why start now?
So here is what I ate today:
Breakfast: Granola cereal with milk.
Lunch: Pork and sweet potato hash, Cuban spiced pulled pork soup. Both from Main Market deli. Great food, but pricey.
Dinner: Sausage, tofu and egg scramble lettuce wraps. Lettuce from C&S Hydro-Huts. Focaccia from Bouzies Bakery.
Coffee: same as all week, DOMA with milk.
I’ve really enjoyed seeking out all the local food products that our area has to offer. I just wish I had tracked down more items (CDA Oil and Petit Chat butter). I’ll do a recap post this weekend. As much fun as the challenge has been, I can’t WAIT to have that pizza tomorrow.

What you say about me here is true (AND the first pick at DOMA as well).

So, DOMA only gave two prizes for the contest winners? Since there is no incentive for me to stay in, I could just give up now, but really, I like the food I’m eating! Plus, I’m a-okay with Monique winning!

DOMA generously donated two prizes, yes. They didn’t have to do that, and it was greatly appreciated.
And while many might go through the contest, there will only be two winners.

The cosmos is rewarding me for not drinking that Abyss last night. Thank you, cosmos.

Gosh, Monique, if I knew you were going to win doma coffee yesterday, maybe I would have taken some of you 4 Seasons Coffee!
Total Schmolson move to announce the winners before the challenge is even over.
This reminds me of that one time in November of 2000 with a certain person in Florida and a news network…
P.s. I love DOMA coffee and am very happy they donated prizes!
